Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Regulatory professional for a Regulatory Specialist position, based in Houston,TX who meets the following criteria.
The Regulatory Specialist will coordinate the detailed development of permitting and regulatory deliverables, with emphasis on FERC and PHMSA compliance for the Louisiana LNG and Pipeline Projects.
- Prepare, submit, and manage regulatory applications and documents, and Implementation packages. Ensure all project activities comply with environmental, safety, and legal regulations.
- Review environmental impact assessments and collaborate with teams to minimize risks and mitigate impacts.
- Identify and assess regulatory risks associated with the project, developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with teams to address regulatory matters and provide guidance on compliance.
- Support engineering and project management teams in applying regulatory requirements based on permits and legislation.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports and filings. Ensure compliance with FERC and other state and federal requirements
