We're looking for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, understands the nuances of regulatory compliance, and can lead testing and certification efforts from start to finish.
Regulatory Engineer Responsibilities:
- Support new product development with timely compliance, testing, and certification
- Track and interpret global regulatory standards (FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH)
- Coordinate third-party testing to ensure safety and performance compliance
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and certifications in PLM systems
- Collaborate with R&D, project management, marketing, and manufacturing teams
- Drive process improvements to elevate product safety and compliance
- Support audits and supplier evaluations; deliver internal compliance training
Regulatory Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Engineering (3-5 years experience) or STEM field (5-7 years experience)
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, certification processes, and third-party testing
- Able to read technical drawings and manage compliance documentation
- Experience with building materials a plus (doors, locks, decking, plumbing)
