Job Description: Our client is seeking a seasoned Compliance professional to lead a critical compliance initiative following a recent regulatory audit. This role will focus on executing remediation efforts across key areas of the compliance program, ensuring timelines are met, cross-functional teams stay aligned, and deliverables reflect regulatory expectations.
This is a highly visible role, working directly with senior leadership to drive meaningful change and build a strong, sustainable compliance environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage multiple remediation workstreams related to compliance areas including BSA/AML, OFAC, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring
- Partner with compliance and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives and develop actionable project plans
- Oversee change management activities as systems, policies, and procedures are enhanced
- Collaborate with departments across compliance, risk, legal, operations, and IT to ensure alignment
- Track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues when needed to maintain momentum
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports and updates to leadership and regulatory contacts
- Support internal and external reviews or audits as they relate to remediation efforts
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment
- Direct experience managing remediation projects in response to regulatory audits or exams
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations, particularly related to BSA/AML, OFAC, and customer due diligence
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with executive-level stakeholders
- Comfortable managing deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
