Rural Psychiatry Associates is seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to serve as the Registration and Scheduling Manager. This position is responsible for leading the teams that manage patient registration and scheduling across our multi-state mental health practice. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence and patient access.

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervise and support registration and scheduling staff, ensuring accurate data entry, timely appointment coordination, and exceptional service
Oversee the daily operations of patient scheduling and registration functions across all service lines
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and industry best practices
Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize workflows and improve patient access
Monitor scheduling metrics and registration accuracy, identifying trends and implementing process improvements
Lead performance management activities including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluations
Support system-wide initiatives related to access, capacity planning, and efficiency improvements
Maintain knowledge of telehealth workflows and scheduling requirements across multiple states

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, registration, or clinic operations, is highly desired
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience
Consistently leads by example with a strong understanding of clinical operations, patient access processes, and healthcare compliance standards
Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and meet performance goals
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR), medical systems, and general office software.
