Overview:
Role Summary
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. When you join our organization as a Registered Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 10,000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.
We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilties:
Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Registered Veterinary Technician Qualifications:
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. (SVP will pay for a transfer / additional state licensing for DC if applicable).
Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
