Are you a Skilled Veterinary Technician with a passion for animal care and a positive, team-oriented attitude? VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant (minimum 2 years of veterinary experience required) to join our energetic team.

VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital is a large three-doctor practice offering a full range of services under one roof-including grooming, boarding, and advanced veterinary care.

Schedule & Pay
Hours : Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM-2:00 PM
Closed Sundays (on-call rotation for boarding pets requiring care)
Typical schedule: 4- 5 days/week with rotating Saturdays
Starting pay : $16.00/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll utilize your experience and knowledge to support our medical team with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Phlebotomy and catheter placement
Diagnostic imaging and radiology
Anesthesia monitoring and surgical prep/assisting
Dentistry and laboratory work
Medication preparation and fulfillment
Patient recovery and assessments
Accurate medical recordkeeping
Providing compassionate, low-stress care to patients
Effective communication with clients and team members
