Registered Respiratory Therapist

Position Summary/Essential Duties:

The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision. Essential duties include:

Mechanical ventilation

Medicated aerosol delivery

Airway clearance therapy

Patient monitoring

Oxygen and humidity therapy

Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)

Education Requirements:

Associates Degree or Bachelors in Respiratory

Required Credentials, License and/or Certifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Licensed to practice respiratory therapy in Ohio

Preferred Qualifications:

This role is for our special care nursery, women laboring, and infant resuscitation during deliveries. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the NICU and attending deliveries. The schedule is part time, (2) 12 hour night shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. There is 25% travel to our main campus in Cleveland (Rainbow Babies & Children's) to maintain skills.

Employees who are hired to work 16-34 hours per week will be awarded a $5,000 sign on bonus: $1,500 to be paid out the next applicable pay period after 90 days of employment, $3,500 to be paid out following the 1 year mark, based on performance.
