Surgical Cardiology RN, you'll be at the forefront of cardiovascular care, working with a team of experts to help patients recover from
life-changing surgical interventions and complex procedures.
What You'll Do As a vital member of our
interdisciplinary team, you will: Provide
hands-on care to patients with dysrhythmias, atherosclerotic disease, and post-surgical cardiac needs. Gain valuable expertise in
thoracic, vascular, and general surgical care, expanding your skill set. Work alongside
Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Hospitalists, RNs, LPNs, and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment. Develop
clinical confidence with the guidance of supportive leadership, enhancing critical thinking and decision-making skills. Play an essential role in
patient education and recovery, ensuring safe transitions and optimal healing.
Who We're Looking For We're seeking
dedicated and
compassionate nurses who thrive in a
fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN graduates preferred.
- Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC) required.
Preferred Skills: - BSN degree preferred.
- Acute care, medical-surgical, or cardiology experience highly valued.
- ACLS and Stroke Certification preferred.
