- BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.
Responsibilities- The Quality RN is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of quality improvement activities throughout the Healthcare System.
- This role also works to maintain and report data in compliance with regulatory agencies and educates personnel on the principles of quality improvement.
- The Reviewer works in collaboration with Risk Management, Infection Prevention, and Medical Staff Office to achieve change in an effort to improve services and reduce risk.
- This role compiles and presents information for quality programs.
- The Registered Nurse works collaboratively as part of the health system team living by the BSA Mission and Vision.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS (Basic life support) certification
- CPHQ Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- CPHQ Certification
- Experience working with healthcare coding, Joint Commission standards, and CMS regulations
- 3-5 years acute care nursing experience
