Get to Know Your Team:
- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities- The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes.
- This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
- This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
- The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license.
- Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advance Life Support ( PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC
- 2 years experience required
- Experience with electronic health records a plus
Preferred Job Requirements:
- OB nursing certification preferred.
- EFM certification preferred.
