Our newly renovated 32-bed unit specializes in treating acute and chronic CHF, as well as a wide range of cardiac conditions, including AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker and ICD placements-and soon LVADs.

What You'll Do

As an RN in the Congestive Heart Failure Unit, you will: Provide hands-on, expert-level care to patients with advanced heart failure and related cardiac conditions. Work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient safety and outcomes. Play an active role in shared decision-making, contributing to unit improvements and patient care strategies. Enjoy practice autonomy through nurse-driven protocols, empowering you to make critical patient care decisions. Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and families navigating complex cardiac conditions.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking dedicated, team-oriented nurses who are eager to advance their skills and make a meaningful impact in cardiac care.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program;
  • Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC) required.
Preferred Skills:
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or congestive heart failure nursing highly valued.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
