Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrates sufficient knowledge to independently perform the duties of the position as stated in the policy manual
implements appropriate procedures in working with other hospital resources (i.e., lab, x-ray, physical therapy)
demonstrates knowledge of use and care of general and patient equipment
demonstrates ability to teach adult learner - on job training

maintains current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

fclocks out on time when patient care does not necessitate overtime
participates (as requested) in continuous quality improvement, quality assurance, and quality control activities for the department and surgical center
