Registered Nurse Med/Surg

Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a professional by utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge. Is responsible for incorporating general, age-specific and unit specific competencies into the care provided and is responsible to work as a Hospital standards in accordance with the licensure of Registered Nurses by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and American Nursing Association.

Qualifications: BLS certification required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Computer skills preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prioritization and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and administration of medications and treatments.
Perform catheterization and IV insertion while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Utilize EMR and EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain BLS certification and demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Pay: $70.00 - $72.00 per hour
