Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
- One year of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
Department Summary
As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the ICU or Progressive Care setting in accordance with established CVMC standards of practice and AACN guidelines.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. This 12-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
