Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting, ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs. Adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
Education, License & Cert: Requires RN license in the state of practice, BSN preferred, BLS certification, and unit-dependent ACLS and PALS certifications.
Experience: Minimum one year of RN experience or less if transitioned from the NLRN Program. Must meet educational requirements specific to the nursing unit.
Essential Functions: Includes patient assessment, care planning, advocacy, fostering learning, ensuring safety and quality, engaging in professional development, and demonstrating leadership.
Other Duties: Proficiency in IT, teamwork, critical judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
