Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Duration: 12 hours

Hourly Rate: $32.33 to $48.50, depending on experience and qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. As part of our emergency department, you will treat patients with a variety of conditions, ranging from minor injuries to critically ill cases. Key Responsibilities:

Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages presenting to the emergency room with various medical conditions.

Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing care based on acuity and ensuring efficient and timely intervention.

Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations, delivering excellent patient care.

Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to create and implement follow-up care plans, ensuring effective referrals as needed.

Document patient information effectively, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

Coordinate care with physicians and other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality of care.

Requirements:

Diploma or Associate's Degree from an accredited professional nursing program (required).

BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of nursing (preferred).

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia or a compact multi-state RN license with eligibility to practice in Virginia (required).

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (required).

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an emergency room setting in acute care (preferred).

Med-Surg RNs may be considered for cross-training into the ER for night shifts only.
