Registered Nurse - Cardiac Heart Center Operating Room
Join the leaders in healthcare as a clinical Nurse in the Cardiac Heart Center Operating Room. The High-Tech Hybrid Cardiac Operating Room includes six new rooms equipped with the latest technological tools and a new post-anesthesia care unit.
Our Cardiac Operating Room (OR) RNs:
- Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgeries including general, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic trauma, plastics, robotic, pediatrics, etc.
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for patients through safety intervention and support.
What you'll bring:
- Passion for Cardiac Perioperative Services
- 1+ years of Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, Cardiac OR experience preferred.
- Completion of a Periop 101 course or equivalent perioperative fellowship/residency
- Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, CNOR preferred
Salary Range
USD $52.14 - USD $78.49 /Hr.
