Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
- Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team, communicating effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Maintain and update accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information to monitor patient conditions and support decision-making.
- Follow established guidelines and policies set by the client nursing organization to maintain high standards of care.
- Assist the leadership team in quality improvement initiatives and projects to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- Experience in a Critical Care or Step-Down unit preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Proficient in using computerized medical records and data systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Previous experience in a Critical Care or Step-Down unit is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications in Critical Care nursing (e.g., CCRN) are a plus.
Certifications- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
