Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients on preventative care and chronic disease management
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical staff to deliver high-quality care
- Manage patient follow-ups, medication administration, and clinical documentation
- Assist with pre-procedural assessment, ensuring patients are prepared for peripheral angiography
- Provide support and monitoring during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Assist in post-procedure recovery, monitoring patient status and responding to any concerns
- Implement physicians' orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions
- Use sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
Requirements:
- Active NJ RN License (Required)
- BLS/ACLS Certification (Preferred)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience:
- 1+ year of RN experience preferred (Cardiology or Primary Care experience is a plus)
- New graduates are welcome. We offer training and mentorship for the right candidate.
