Job OverviewDay to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. The Orthopedic Surgical Unit is a 32-bed unit located on the 5th floor of the new Orthopedic and Neuroscience Hospital. This unit is dedicated to providing high quality innovative care to those individuals who need hip, knee, and shoulder replacements. The team also provides care to a wide variety of patients with medical surgical needs. The unit consists of all private rooms that provide modern conveniences for the patient and family. A therapy gym is centrally located in the unit. An interprofessional team consisting of registered nurses, clerical associates, patient care technicians, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Case Managers, and Social Workers provide exceptional care to our patients.
