Your role at BHSN:

As a Registered Nurse you will provide health screening, coordination of health referrals, and work in close collaboration with prescribers and staff. There are both full-time and part-time positions available.

What your day might look like:

Dispenses medication as prescribed by the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner
Administers injectable medication per prescriber's order
Provides health monitoring and PROS Health Assessments
Participates in the development, writing and execution of the treatment plan
Reviews health screening and makes appropriate recommendations
Educates recipients/staff regarding pertinent medical issues/medication
Ensures the security and inventory of all medications and nursing supplies

Your skills and qualifications:

NYS Department of Education Registered Professional Nurse
CPR-certified
Experience providing direct clinical service to the population served by the assigned clinical program is strongly preferred
Ability to manage time effectively as well as to organize tasks
