Live the Mission: The RN Infection Preventionist evaluates resident care quality related to Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI) and Community Acquired Infections (CAI), ensuring compliance with laws and standards. Responsibilities include:
Collecting and analyzing HAI data, presenting findings, and making recommendations. Monitoring compliance with infection control standards and providing education to staff, residents, and families. Maintaining knowledge of infection control trends and public health advisories. Developing the Antibiotic Stewardship Program and making independent decisions as needed. Qualifications: Nursing diploma, active RN license, CPR certification, specialized IPC training, and preferred geriatrics experience.
