Job Description
Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland
- ACLS required.
- Telemetry Nurse must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and have ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention.
- Must successfully complete required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including but not limited to BLS certification and medication certification required.
Preferred
- Certification in specialty is preferred.
