Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit . Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit Schedule: Full Time, 36 Hours/Week - Nights Saint Luke's Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet Designated Facility Our Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center treats more strokes a year than any other Kansas City hospital and has outstanding patient outcomes We treat 2,000 strokes a year, more than any other Kansas City area hospital, and provide life-saving interventions 13 minutes faster than the national average specialty areas of neurology, including epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, migraines and concussion, Parkinson's disease, neuromuscular, and other movement disorders. Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
