Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Area: Geriatrics
Location: Jacksonville, NC 28540,

Shift Timing: Night 7 PM to 7 AM
Hours per week: 36 (Every Other Weekend Required)
Duration: 8Weeks of Contract(High Chances of Extension)

Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Care Planning:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.

Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.

Set realistic and measurable goals for patients' rehabilitation.
Direct Patient Care:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing interventions as required.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Education and Support:

Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and answering questions.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

Report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team promptly.
Team Collaboration:

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and modify care plans as needed.

Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Safety and Compliance:

Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
RN North Carolina State License
BLS Certificate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
