Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS: Per Diem Nurses are Unit Based or Float Pool Per Diem Nurses will work 36 hours per week, hours are not guaranteed Per Diem Nurses will work every other weekend and every other holiday Per Diem Nurses are eligible to change status every 6-months Per Diem Nurses must have 2-years' experience in the specialty area EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current Licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital Department: Five South Shift: Variable Union Code: Not Applicable
