Position Overview
Heartbeet Lifesharing is hiring for the position of Heartbeet Nurse to provide oversight and training for medication administration and support for the care of Heartbeet residents with developmental disabilities.
The Heartbeet Nurse is the nurse-on-record for the purpose of our license with the Vermont Agency of Human Services, and will be required to be familiar with and abide by the TCR Regulations for Nursing Staff, supporting Heartbeet's practices and documentation to be in compliance.
The Heartbeet Nurse is responsible for training non-licensed staff in medication administration as well as the delegation, observation, and oversight of said medication administration by non-licensed staff.
Heartbeet's nurse is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of residents at Heartbeet, including designating time monthly for assessments with each resident.
Reports To: Licensing & Compliance Director
Accountable To: Licensing & Compliance Director & Executive Director

- Compensation will be determined based on experience.
- Position requirements:
- Applicant must hold a current RN license with the state of Vermont
- Applicant must not have any suspensions/revocations on their license history
- References will be checked
- Applicant must pass required background checks for position.
- Valid U.S. Driver's license
- I-9 employment eligibility verification
- Excellent verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- The applicant must possess good judgment, initiative, excellent attitude, and dependability.
