We're seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Nurse Manager to help lead our Interventional Radiology (IR) team at Community Regional Medical Center. As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts. Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee daily operations, including admissions, discharges, and shift handoffs, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage staffing schedules and assignments based on patient needs and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate team communication and collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and guide staff development.
- Contribute to quality improvement and ensure operational compliances.
Qualifications:
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Certifications as required for the unit.
- Strong clinical experince in nursing; previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
