Essential Functions include:
Utilizing the nursing process for efficient patient care. Developing and updating individualized care plans. Monitoring patient conditions and documenting changes. Teaching patients and families effectively. Coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team. Providing supervision to nursing staff. Responding to emergencies and ensuring patient safety. Maintaining compliance with safety and infection standards. Minimum requirements include an accredited nursing program, state RN license, and CPR certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and experience in acute care. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.
