Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Step Down, Head and Neck-Inpatient
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours
Experience: 1.5 years and some experience in Level 1 or 2 preferred; travel experience preferred
License: Any state RN license acceptable; compact license accepted
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Must-Have:
- EPIC experience
- Experience with stable chronic ventilators
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting assignment
- IV start preferred

Job Description:
- Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 unless a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is offered/needed
- Traveler will be first to float at management's discretion
- Assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID
- Must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
- Right to cancel two shifts due to low census within a 13-week contract
- Right to cancel the agreement with two weeks' notice without fee or fine
- Not eligible for employee incentives
- Request time off with initial submission; no additional requests for time off will be negotiated after offer
- No more than 14 days of requested time off allowed, even if willing to add to the end of the contract
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted for any RN or Allied specialty, except Radiology candidates
- Complete lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing contract
