Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of an interdisciplinary team providing holistic end-of-life care to hospice patients and families.
•  Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care coordination, delegation of tasks, education, documentation, and participating in quality improvement and team meetings.
•  RNs follow organizational policies, ensure safety, and provide primary nursing care in various settings, including inpatient and home care.
•  They support family bereavement, participate in on-call rotations, and uphold infection control practices.
•  Qualifications include valid RN licensure, minimum two years of hospice or community health experience, reliable transportation, and excellent communication skills.
•  Physical demands involve patient handling and mobility, with accommodations available for disabilities.
