About the Company - Insight Global is hiring an ICU nurse to support one of our large healthcare clients in Columbia, SC. This person will work in their brand new beautiful cardiac ICU that just opened up. This is a 3-month contract with extensions. Schedule will be 3, 12-hour night shifts including rotating weekends.
About the Role - Day-to-day: This nurse will be regularly checking vital signs. They will also be responsible for administering medications and treatments, and will be managing equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, and cardiac monitors, forms.
Desired qualifications:
- ICU Experience
- Experience in cardiac focused unit or a unit that saw cardiac patients
- ACLS
- BLS
Preferred skills:
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience with devices such as: Impella, Ballon Pump (IABP), CRRT, and ECMO
