Listed below are general descriptions of our Med-Surg Units at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, if scheduled for an interview a Recruiter will talk through available openings.


Sign on bonuses are available to RN s with 1 or more years of RN experience




Lakeside 20 - Medical Surgical floor with mostly medical patients. Considered an Age Wise and Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) unit.


Lakeside 50 - Medical-Surgical unit that admits patients with various diagnosis, and those that require telemetry observation.-


Lakeside 55 - Medical Surgical floor that primarily consists of a Gastroenterology and Liver patient population. In addition to these specialized digestive health populations


Lakeside 60 - Medical Surgical Floor specializing in Medically Complex

Hanna 3 Medical Surgical Unit caring for a wide range of medicine patients.


Qualifications

Qualifications:


1 year of RN experience preferred.


Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:


Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.


Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.


Education Requirements:


Minimum of Diploma/Associate s Degree in nursing from accredited program required.


Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification:


Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio required.


Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.


ALS & PALS may be required based on area s requirements.
