We've got a great opportunity for a Full-time Registered Nurse to work Monday-Friday in our Adult Outpatient Campus at 1304 Chinook Lane, Pueblo. What You'll Be Doing As a Registered Nurse with outpatient services you would be providing direct care to patients experiencing temporary emotional distress in an outpatient environment. You would be conducting assessments, managing cases, and providing supportive therapy with utmost kindness and care. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be important to your responsibilities related to evaluating and managing medications. Furthermore, you'd have the distinct opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Health Solutions professionals to serve individuals and groups. Specifically, the Registered Nurse Conducts intake assessments; Conducts nursing assessments; Provides case management and supportive therapy to a caseload of those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness; Assists clients with organizing and managing medication boxes; Administers medication by injection as ordered by our physicians; Prepares and dispenses prescribed medications; Receives and record physicians' orders; Maintains contact with pharmacies to assure accurate and timely medication orders are met; Facilitates lab work, reviews results, and brings results to the attention of physicians as needed; Provides medication education for our clients; Participates as a team member in meetings; Keeps accurate and timely records with 100 percent compliance with our standards; Conducts AIMS and depression screening for all clients; Coordinates care with PCPs, and assisted living and long-term care facilities; Supports and includes family members and others involved in the care of clients; Supports other departments and units as needed; and Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the program director and the chief medical services officer. Physical requirements include the following: Frequently stays stationary for prolonged periods of time. Frequently moves within and between facilities. Frequently exposed to stressful or emergent situations. Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment to record health data. Constantly communicates with clients and others. Occasionally moves equipment and/or materials up to 50 pounds.
