Summary: A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They also oversee patient teaching and ancillary nursing personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Education: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent. Experience: Six months preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license in Texas, AHA BLS within 2 weeks, AHA ACLS within 8 weeks, ENPC or PALS within 12 months (18 for new grads), TNCC within 12 months (18 for new grads), Arrhythmia Recognition within 8 weeks.
