Summary: A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They also oversee patient teaching and ancillary nursing personnel while upholding professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent. Experience: Six months preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license in Texas, AHA BLS within 2 weeks, AHA ACLS within 8 weeks, ENPC or PALS within 12 months (18 for new grads), TNCC within 12 months (18 for new grads), Arrhythmia Recognition within 8 weeks.
