PRN position available with a flexible schedule and tiered pay rates based on shifts worked. The Acute Trauma Medical Surgical unit is a 40-bed facility specializing in post-operative care for gastrointestinal and urologic procedures, as well as trauma patients. The unit features nursing support, a Mobility Technician, and a certified wound care nurse. Registered Nurses are responsible for patient care, assessment, and supervision of ancillary staff. Requirements include a nursing degree, at least 1 year of acute hospital experience, and a current Texas RN license. BLS certification is required within two weeks, ACLS preferred within eight weeks.
