The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Addressing patients' psychological and physical needs
- Fostering quality care for patients and families
- Communicating effectively and compassionately
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Overseeing care by LPNs/CNAs
- Participating in clinical team conferences
- Complying with guidelines and policies
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school, a current RN license, and BLS certification.
