Shifts: Late shifts (13:00 - 19:00) Potential Long Day shift available aswell.
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our team for late (13:00 - 19:00) shifts within a respected and well-established NHS Trust in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for mental health professionals dedicated to delivering high standards of care in a supportive and structured clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centred mental health care in accordance with individualised care plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.

Administer medications and monitor their effects in line with NMC and Trust guidelines.

Support patients through recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches.

Respond effectively to challenging situations, including use of approved restraint techniques when required.

Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to care reviews and risk assessments.
Requirements:

NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is essential.

Restraint training (e.g. PMVA, MAPA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

NHS experience in a mental health setting is required please do not apply without this.

Availability to work consistent late shifts (13:00 - 19:00).

Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and interpersonal skills.

A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to mental health care.

Valid DBS on the update service.
