Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Residential
Location: Tadcaster
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a £5,000 registration payment
Role Overview:
A children's residential home in Tadcaster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a 4-bed Ofsted-rated GOOD home. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive care plans, manage a skilled team, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create tailored care plans for young people
- Recruit and develop staff
- Consult with young people and stakeholders
- Address complaints and child protection concerns
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals
- Attend relevant meetings
Essential Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in children's residential care, including 1 year in a supervisory role
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of managing challenging behaviors and trauma
