Job Title: Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead a established domiciliary care service in the St Helens area. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality private care to elderly customers in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and shape the growth of a new service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with CQC regulations and company standards
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of care staff to ensure the highest level of care is provided
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of customers' care plans to ensure their needs are being met effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance the quality of care provided
  • Attend meetings and liaise with external agencies to promote the service and ensure its success
  • Ensure all staff are trained and supported to adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a domiciliary care setting
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience of managing CQC inspections
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation
  • Passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
  • Flexibility to work on-call and attend meetings outside of regular working hours
