I am looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to join an established children's service in Birmingham. The service is well run and has a good Ofsted rating and the role has become available due to an internal promotion. It offers an excellent salary and the chance to work for a fantastic organisation.
Responsibilities
- Hold the registration for the established 3-bed EBD home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the care team.
- Ensure the home delivers high-quality, child-centred care that meets needs of the children and young people.
- Maintain and improve the home's Ofsted rating, ensuring best practice is followed.
- Work with the Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
- Liaise with external agencies, professionals, and families to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
To be considered for this great opportunity you will need to hold NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards this). If you are a current Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting you can be considered if you can demonstrate your management potential. You will have good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
