Our spa-like dental office located in downtown Cincinnati is looking to add a Full-time and a Part- time Hygienist to our practice. We are looking for strong candidates to compliment our team during GREAT family-friendly hours.
We are searching for our Star Hygienist who has strong clinical skills; a great, warm, friendly personality; and of course, has a professional presentation and demeanor.
Our growing, high-end, cosmetic practice is equipped with the latest technology in large rooms and uses top-quality instruments to ensure the comfort of our patients as well as the ease of use for our team.
We are looking for a hygienist that has strong communication skills. The practitioner will have a critical role on patient education as it pertains not only to gingival health, but also complete oral health.

- Our doctor and team follow the highest standards for infection control, OSHA guidelines; and have established strict protocols to maintain a safe and controlled environment. We have all the highest-grade PPE. The facility is unique in the sense that it has completely private and enclosed treatment rooms, which assist in more effective air purification
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
- Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
- Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
- Take X-rays or dental impressions
- Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
- Monitor supplies
Skills
- Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail
- Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master's is a plus
- Current license to practice in Ohio
