Registered Behavior Technician
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) in psychology, special education, or a related field
Active state-level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
A valid teaching license or certification in physical education
Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow Treatment Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA, ensuring fidelity to the prescribed interventions.
Support Behavior Modification: Assist students in developing appropriate behaviors and skills as outlined in their individualized plans.
Collect Data: Accurately record data on student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
Monitor Progress: Assist in monitoring and evaluating student progress toward goals, reporting findings to the supervising BCBA.
Provide One-on-One Support: Work directly with students, providing individualized support during academic activities, social interactions, and behavioral interventions.
Respond to Behavioral Crises: Assist in de-escalating situations and providing support during behavioral crises, following established safety protocols.
Ensure Student Safety: Maintain a safe environment for students during activities, being aware of potential hazards and addressing them proactively.
Engage in Training: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current on best practices in behavior analysis.
Supervision Requirements: Work under the supervision of a qualified BCBA and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards set by the BACB.
