Registered Behavior Technician

Must have active Registered Behavioral Technicians certification

Reliant ABA Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals at our Katy clinic. Our clinic provides ABA therapy and counseling to children from birth to 21 to help them overcome struggles with communication, behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. We strive to create a collaborative, safe, friendly, and fun work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as directed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect and record data during each 1:1 teaching session
Attend regular supervision and training sessions with BCBAs and other team members
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions
Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as other members of the treatment team

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program
Successfully pass the RBT Competency Assessment
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Experience working with children and families is a plus

Basic Physical Requirements
Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time.
Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
