We are a startup company seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized care plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, education, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

Salary:

19$-26$ per hour

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Assist in developing and updating care plans based on individual needs.
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on improving daily living skills (ADLs).
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor client progress and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.
  • Collaborate with special education staff and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with care plans, special education practices, and behavioral therapy techniques is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining medical records is essential.
  • A background in patient care or related fields will be beneficial for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are critical for success as an RBT.
