Our headquarters are located in Italy, and we have been a global leader in exterior architectural lighting for more than 25 years. ewo USA was established to expand our North American presence as part of our continued global expansion. We develop and manufacture customized leading-edge lighting solutions and advanced lighting control systems. In your position as Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast region you will play a key role in growing our brand and generating business in your territory. As our eyes and ears in the exterior lighting industry, you'll identify new projects and sales leads. The expertise and enthusiasm you bring to our innovative lighting solutions will wow lighting designers, specifiers, and other prospects as you educate them about our unique mission and cutting-edge luminaires and control systems. With ewo's exclusive Photometry and Product Configurator, you can build highly customized lighting applications tailored to the specific requirements of our clients.

Reporting directly to our CEO, you will collaborate closely with our technical sales support team in the US and Italy. This full-time position requires you to work from a home office and travel extensively within your district to maximize face-time with prospects and clients.


Responsibilities

Actively use and expand your network, make sales calls, maximize face-time, and keep in constant communication with the lighting community and our sales reps to identify projects and generate orders.

Increase order intake in your territory and meet or exceed your sales targets.

Gain a deep knowledge and understanding of our products and our mission to Empower Wellbeing Outdoors, and stay up-to-date on the latest product developments.

Present and demonstrate our cutting-edge luminaires and control systems as well as our distinctive company mission with confidence and enthusiasm.

Develop and nurture strong relationships within the lighting community, especially with sales representatives, lighting designers, landscape architects, engineering firms, distributors, architects, electrical contractors, and other specifiers.

Educate and train sales reps, specifiers, and other clients about ewo's mission and products, and ensure they remain current on all ewo developments.

Quickly respond to requests from sales reps, lighting designers, and other specifiers.

Answer questions about our luminaires, their optical performance, control options, modifications, and pricing.

Collaborate with our technical sales support team and Italian engineers to ensure that customers are provided with customized quotes tailored to their specific requirements.

Keep track of actual and potential projects and provide management with monthly reports.

Stay current on industry trends and competitors' activities, identify growth prospects, and provide insight and recommendations to management.

Be active in local lighting associations, and participate in networking events and tabletop product presentations.

Attend local and national trade shows and conventions.

Travel 20-30% of the time (outside of NYC) to maximize face-time with prospects and clients.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

3-5 years of experience in B2B sales in the Lighting Industry, preferably in Exterior Architectural Lighting

Knowledge of AGi32, DIALux, or AutoCAD

Understanding of current LED technology and electronic control systems, sensors, and wireless technology

Ability to read technical drawings and documents

Advanced level of Microsoft 365, in particular Power Point & Excel

Knowledge of CRM software (Zoho) and project management experience is a plus

Valid driver's license and passport

Ability to organize, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

Ability to work from a home office and travel within the assigned district
