Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in our wholesale tire distribution business. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the tire industry, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and coaching a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Set performance goals and regularly evaluate team members' progress.
- Foster a positive and results-driven sales culture.
Customer & Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, retailers, and fleet customers.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with key clients.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Operational & Reporting Duties:
- Track sales performance metrics and generate reports for upper management.
- Manage budgets, pricing strategies, and profit margins.
- Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the tire or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
