Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join a industry leading, growing mechanical service provider of flow control and pump solutions, within the water industry.
This Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will work remote, covering the East Midlands / Midlands of the UK: Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough, Kings Lyn, Thetford, on the east.
The Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have a background in Solution selling with Pumps, Valves, or a Mechanical product, from design to completion. Working closely with the clients and internal teams throughout.
The role will be initial hybrid with 1 or 2 days a week in the office, but then move to fully remote.

Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Role
- Covering the East Midlands / Midlands of the UK: Leicester, Nottingham, Peterborough, Kings Lyn, Thetford, on the east.
- Meeting with high level clients, nurturing, growing and developing existing accounts while fostering new relationships.
- Selling a range of Pump Systems, Water Flow Management, Flood Risk, and Water Level Management solutions.
- Liaise with the internal and external sales team and other engineering departments throughout the sales process.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning in the market
- Work with sub-contractors to present full turnkey services
Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
- Experience as Key Account manager/ Account manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Manager/ Internal sales engineer or a similar job title
- An engineering qualification of some sort would be beneficial, ideally Mechanical Engineering degree
- Experience working within external sales roles selling mechanical products.
- 2+ years' experience in solution selling of products, working with customers/clients from start to finish of bespoke requirements.
- Location based in the East Midlands.
