The Regional Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing room revenue by developing and implementing effective inventory management and pricing strategies for multiple hotels. Examples include establishing procedures designed to increase top-line revenue, supporting sales and operations teams with associated revenue management issues, and participating in annual budgeting. The Regional Revenue Manager will create forecasts and conduct ongoing competitor price/product analysis to ensure competitive rate positioning and product offerings at assigned hotels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Review nightly audit reports ensuring accurate output and performances
- Monitor pick-up analysis to develop or adjust strategies
- Update and change restrictions, allotments, and rates as necessary
- Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends
- Facilitate weekly revenue optimization strategy meetings
- Provide forecast synopsis of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons
- Participate and prepare a rolling forecast and annual budget for each property
- Maintain historical data from all distribution channels in all market segments
- Contribute to auditing website and maintaining content
- Monitor all distribution channels to ensure content accuracy, rate parity, and pricing integrity
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors and Internet wholesalers to accomplish revenue goals and negotiate placement for hotels
- Work closely with the e-commerce department to create eNewsletters, hotel packages, and other marketing-related efforts
- Stay in tune with brand initiatives and implementation to ensure compliance
- Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates, including BT businesses
- Understand top producers at the hotel, including key accounts and individual guests
- Responsible for assessing, analyzing, and pricing group business strategies
- Loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS
- Spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any GDS rate loading issues as they occur
- Provide in-depth analysis on statistics reports, including the financial statement and any other related reports, and make sure the data is accurate and consistent
- Ensure that all revenue management-related systems are maintained and up to company and brand standards
- Understand the reservations process, including the distribution channels and reservations flow
- Attend sales meetings as necessary to support communication of strategies and need periods
- Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team
- Champion the Revenue Management culture to inspire property-level personnel
- Active involvement with General Managers' engagement and adjustments
- Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate associates to sustain high performance and quality levels

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: This person must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the job's essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Standard Qualifications:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Two years of revenue management experience
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Marriott brand experience is required for consideration
- Multi-property experience
- Some out-of-state travel is expected for this role
